I was introduced to darts by my college roommates in 1981 while attending Ohio State.  It was a distraction that turned into an obsession. Soon I was playing 6 nights a week in blind draws, the Central Ohio Darters (COD) and the East-Side Dart League (ESDL). (See Central Ohio Darts for Newsletters from that era.)  I also worked for Bull’s Eye News and at Darts USA, Columbus’s first dart shop. Anyway, in 1985, surprisingly (still throwing darts 6 nights a week), I graduated from OSU with a degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and went to Dayton to work at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.  Although I took some time away from darts while raising my kids, It has always been a dream of mine to own and run a dart shop.  Fast forward 35 years. I recently retired from my job at Wright-Patt and am pursuing my dream in Columbus.  I look forward to serving the Central Ohio darting community, both soft tip and steel tip, and promoting the sport of darts.
